Pian della Bandina is located on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, in the middle of Italy, also called the green heart of Italy. The nearby town of Città della Pieve is known for the Safran, its many churches and especially the painter Pietro Vanucci. He was the mentor of Michelangelo and Rafael. You will also find authentic Italy and of course shops, supermarkets, coffee bars, ice cream parlors, restaurants, banks and a hospital.
Pian della Bandina is a good starting point for day trips to Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Castiglione del Lago, Spoleto, Todi, Terni, Cascate di Marmore, Sienna, Montepulciano, Florence and Rome.
Florence and Rome are also very easy to reach by train from the nearby train station of Chiusi.
In the immediate vicinity you can also walk in the woods, horseback riding or mountain biking (for example, renting with us). An 18-hole golf course is only a half hour drive away and for water sports enthusiasts there is plenty to do on Lago di Trasimeno. Here you can make boat trips, rent boats, surf or swim.
